I'll post *philosophy for the implications. Unfortunately, the implications of evolutionary theories pose grave threats against the parochial religious dogmas which are not changed by way of intellectual discourse. Rather, the resistance to evolutionary theory is an emotional position in dire need of paradigmatic revision.
