Ross Kemp on Gangs - St. Louis part 1

Ross Kemp continues his series in my hometown of St. Louis, the town recently named the most dangerous city in America. I didn't grow up in the hood, but I still experienced some shady situations and violence around my city high school. On a good note, there are alot of neighborhoods in STL that are growing and improving. People are moving back to the city and nightlife is picking up. St. Louis is so segregated that alot of this gang violence is isolated to certain neighborhoods, but it still spills over from time to time. Not. I'm suprised a white British guy got such good access for interviews.
Heh, and keep in mind, East St. Louis is worse.
You can read more about it in the greatest newspaper in the world, the St. Louis Metro Evening Whirl - http://www.whirlusa1.com/ - a crime reporter mag known for its plain folk reporting such as, "In North St. Louis when the street lights go on everyone knows that's when the real Gs hit the streets, and the bitch Gs stay in the house."

Parts 2-5 are eaily found on youtube. I'm too much of a lazy sack to post em'.

The loop is turning into Chesterfeild Mall. U-City isn't bad after dark in my experience, cept for a couple streets, maybe up around Olive. Had a couple friends mugged around there though a few years back though.

Skinker and Delmar is crazy, one side of the street is literally GIANT mansions, and the other side is slums.
