I've always thought of candidates prostituting themselves to get donations dirties the process. It makes the elected individual beholden to to those that paid to get them elected.

In the end, it comes down to who has the most money for advertising and smear campaigns. The people really never get a say.

in ron paul's case, especially compared to hillary, the people do get a say.

Ron Paul is rather refreshing. I think he'll be good for election, but at this point I don't think I'll vote for him.

i think it's funny that CNN, one of the channles to smear ron is now pushing him... Everyone Outside of media seems to know him, Why the hell is this news?!
