I like the character that 'ron paul' plays, but I doubt it'll be effective against subtle ways of politics.

BTW, why isn't Media focus attacking on this guy? Remember what happened to Howard Dean? He was saying very similar things, then BAM! One slip up and he's done for, and we ended up with Kerry...(barfs)

Dean had enough popular support to give him a genuine shot at the presidency. Ron Paul, like Kucinich and Nader, didn't have enough public support to make him a threat. If his candidacy is competitive with other Republican nominees in 2012, I'd be willing to bet that the media gives him the Dean treatment.
