biminimsays...Listen to Blitzer's segue to the book and his comments about the word "manifesto," and tell me he's not an idiot.
ObsidianStormsays...Totally inappropriate and irrelevant reference.
I'd like to see him say something like, "Gee Hillary, your new book has a word in the title that reminds me of another book, 'A History of the Third Reich'. Your book is called 'Living History'."
Yeah right...

He's clearly an idiot and totally out of touch. It should be blatantly obvious that most people are reminded of the Unabomber Manifesto.
jwraysays...man·i·fes·to (măn'ə-fĕs'tō)
n., pl. -toes or -tos.
A public declaration of principles, policies, or intentions, especially of a political nature.
intr.v., -toed, -to·ing, -toes.
To issue such a declaration.
[Italian, from Latin manifestus, clear, evident. See manifest.]
There isn't much of that in the USA. We have politicians tiptoeing around the issues and saying different vague things to different groups of constituents, and obsessing over manufactured scandals rather than writing better statements of policy.
