charliemsays..."I plan to get as many votes for him [Nader] as possible, because it will take the votes away from Obama..." - Ron Paul.
Sir, you have just lost a serious amount of respect that I had for you. Throwing this race to McCain in lieu of a broken system is fucking childish, and it will not change a damn thing.
For shame.
Constitutional_Patriotsays...He wants a 3rd party candidate to win.. to take votes from both. He clarified his statement that he wants to "change the system" when "wolf" asked him if he wants to stop obama after stating that.
I think he should have said take votes away from both candidates because McCain is as bad as Obama and personally I'm disgusted with almost all politicians and media moguls at this point. It's a circus.

"I don't see any difference between the two candidates -3:13-" Ron Paul
"No! I want to change the system! I want third party debate!." Ron Paul
"This is a ritual! This is a charade!" Ron Paul
Our only present hope for our country and American values is Ron Paul. I'm writing him in - my conscious will be clear. Perpetuation of a facade is not my choice.
Trancecoachsays...And the natural consequence of this?
More of the McSame.
Aniatariosays...How is Obama not the "lesser of two evils"? I have agreed with Ron Paul on several occasions but i just dont understand the man on this one.
imstellar28says...^once you create a governmental program, it is almost impossible to terminate. McCain's war might only last his 4 or 8 years in office, but any social programs Obama creates will be with America until it is admittedly communist, invaded, or otherwise dissolved. Example: the welfare/social security system implemented by FDR (which at the time was only 5% of the national budget) now represents over 55% of our national budget...and thats 63 years after he left office. Thus the "lesser of two evils" is really not as clear cut as one might think.
