Video Flagged Dead

Republican debate 30 January (complete) Shame on CNN.

Pretty much a 2 candidate debate (Mcain and Romney) Paul gets 3 unique questions with Huckabee getting only a couple more. Shame on CNN
[Edit] I truly believe all Americans should watch this, as well as Sifter from abroad. Not everything you see on the media truly depicts America. (You can still hate us if you want.)

Ok, Obviously knowledge is not granted with shiny stars. After watching the debate, I decided to sift it, so that people who did not get a chance could watch it and see how even CNN is buckling. Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee did not get much talk time, while Mcain and Romney sat there and got to *discuss anything they saw fit.

The host site, Youdecide2008.com (where i got the embed) has them all linked to play automatically. Problem is they arn't doing it here. Can anyone help me?

I would LOVE to fix it, the problem is I don't know how... I can't seem to find an embed that will bind them alltogether. But just follow that link above. I don't care so much about the star for this, i just want people to see how shameless the media is in shutting up certain candidates. And I thought CNN was above all that.

[edit]Oh - and please don't * return this.. I'd rather discard it, as my queue is full right now.. I forgot this was here and i went and filled it up. So just let me know please if anyone knows how I can fix the not linking issue. Thanks Sifters.

Yeah, I noticed this when I went to the gym Thursday morning. I had missed the debate, but the coverage the next morning on CNN was purely questions to Romney and Huckabee. Then eventually McCain and Paul got some insignificant question about Sandra Day O'Connor. Thanks for the rest of it, I'll have to look at it later.

Ok now I'm going to try to use my newfound powers for good. I want people to see this. The power the media holds is astonishing. All Americans should watch this, as well as Sifter from abroad. Not everything you see on the media truly depicts America. (You can still hate us if you want.)
*queue drum roll please*
*PROMOTE!

i watched this live on CNN - i can't believe McCain is suddenly a serious contender again, he's fucking nuts. well, the options are still open, but the way this race goes (on both sides) i think it's safe to say US will continue their occupation of Iraq for at least one more term. i expected something more to come out of this ron paul hype but sadly i was mistaken. no matter who wins the election, nothing will change.

Btw, any republicans out there? Can you answer one question for me - are you really better of now than 8 years ago?

Ah, democracy - it's like walking down the street and suddenly realising the stinky toothless baglady asking you for spare change is an old highschool sweetheart you used to bang...

Arsenault185says...

^ yes i am a Republican. Though lately, I've been calling myself a constitutionalist, which is why when i found Ron Paul a nearly had an orgasm. Are we better off now than we were 8 years ago? Well The social security crises is getting worse, our national deficit has grown, inflation is up, the value of the dollar is down, the real estate market is in serious jeopardy, test scores are down in our schools and now we are in a lose lose situation in the middle east.
Am I better off? Well I found a fiver in my pants pocket this morning and some M&Ms under the couch this evening, so yeah I'm doing pretty good.

arsenault. Good one. Like you I am a Republican too that wishes RP would win. Besides him it looks like we will have 2 piles of turd to choose from come Nov. Apart from RP my second choice would be Obama.

Don't forget that our reputation in the world sucks now, we are paying more than double the price of gas than we were 8 years ago, our civil liberties are being eroded away, we condone torture and have killed habius corpus, and other crap that I am forgetting off-hand.

Why talk so much about the economy and not about social or foreign policy? They're not running for chairman of the Fed. They waste so much time talking about irrelevant economic records that they avoid seriously considering any real issues.
