Reel Big Fish - Where Have You Been?

Reel Big Fish is an American ska punk band, best known for the 1997 hit "Sell Out." The band gained mainstream recognition in the mid-to-late 1990s, during the third wave of ska. Since the band's founding in 1992 and their demo In the Good Old Days..., the only original member remaining is Aaron Barrett.

My favorite song by them.

I think this and their other hit "sell out" is the only two things that kept them from being 1 hit wonders.

I guess you could say that, but whether they received widespread popularity or not, they're a great band with a slew of amazing songs.

was never a big fan of third wave. In its heyday, I was a teenager in a rebellious stage, denouncing all that was a corporate exploit of things that I loved (which at that time 1st and 2nd wave ska was on the list of things that I loved). Now that I'm older I can appreciate the songs and bands that I once disavowed.

and this might sound like an odd comment, but I feel like if Great Big Sea were a ska punk band, this would be them.
