The root didn't seem that big. Probably didn't need the truck. I have tried this on a bigger root. Didn't work, had to pry it out by shovel/pick/whatever. It took 1/2 hour. Wish the truck trick worked for me.

My dad uprooted some 15 year old junipers once this way w/ his tractor. Left a crater behind.

I was expecting a big tree root.

LOL, after reading ant's comment I scrolled down to see if it was also a justification for a downvote, how pleasing that it wasn't.
