Kyle Maynard, the quadruple amputee who became an inspirational story when he turned into a star high school wrestler, lost his first mixed martial arts fight by unanimous decision on Saturday night.

Maynard, whose very presence in an MMA cage was controversial, lost a unanimous decision to Bryan Fry in a show in Auburn, Alabama. Maynard has arms that end at the elbow and legs that end above the knee, so he has very limited ability to strike. Fry was able to avoid takedowns and win the fight 30-27 on all three judges' decisions.

Can I call bullshit on this? Can we all stop being so fucking patronizing? It's great that the guy has not given up on life, but I think it's fucking lame to ask everyone in the world to buy into the "polite lie" that he actually belongs in a ring with able-bodied fighters.

I would run up and kick him in his fucking face.

This is as offensive to me as everyone making a big deal out of Susan Boyle. Yes, she can sing well. If she was young good looking nobody would make a big fucking deal out of it. This is what I call political correctness run amok.
