rickegeesays...A rose-colored (read: deaf, dumb, and blind to a lot of murder) view of the Chinese Cultural Revolution of 1966-1976.
I do love the mass-produced and colorful proletarian art, though.

siftbotsays...This video cannot be saved by James Roe because James Roe saved another video less than a week ago - sorry.
therealblankmansays...Who the hell is narrating this, and do they really believe one single syllable of the bullshit that spews forth from their mouths?
The "Cultural Revolution" was one of the single largest steps-backward into darkness and ignorance that has occurred in the history of civilization... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_revolution
rickegeesays...sublime and ridiculous. thanks James for the save attempt.
And even though I tried to cover it in the title, tags, and comments section, realblankman's summary cannot be emphasized enough. Even the Chinese Communists call the Revolution an unmitigated catastrophe.
As far as the narrator goes, he is just giving us "both sides" as the GWB Administration uses that term of art.
Farhad2000says...It's all a bit of history repeating therealblankman, I liken it to the burning of Library of Alexandria.
