I always wondered why the neocon supporters praised Reagan so much.. he had an almost libertarianesque type of platform when trying to get the nomination for presidential candidate then when got into office did exactly the opposite of what he promised.

He perpetuated illegal trading with enemy countries that we had sanctions on in order to fund illegal wars in 3rd world countries for the CIA, he facilitated Rex-84, he was a tool of the CFR and Trilateral Commission...

He was a complete puppet for them.. this is why he is glorified by them today. It makes you wonder... how many ppl does it take to sell us out to the point that all of our freedoms are taken away..

How many years of slow degradation of our civil liberties?

How many more?

How many puppet presidents does it take?

Plus, he killed any chance of the metric system becoming the U.S. standard. What a bastard.

Hey, how about them drowsy Secret Service guys? Think any of them kept their jobs after this?

Say what you want about Reagan. I didn't like him myself either but the man sure had an interesting presidency.
