I have this on DVD The music is good love the story! Sweeney Todd is a production I like a bit better. The filming seemed more professional.

I never knew Klein did G&S!!! I auditioned for the H-town Grand Opera's "Mikado" in the 80's.....they got a real hoot outta the patter song I did from Ruddigore – "My eyes are fully open to my awful situation" which, incidentally, wiki says was adapted for this production here......"This pariticularly rapid unitelligible patter isn't generally heard and if it is it doesn't matter",etc

..oh yeah and they all agreed there would be more singing lessons needed.......

I love Gilbert and Sullivan's works, but I can't say I particularly care for this rendition. It just doesn't flow as well as some that I have heard. But that's just me being picky . . .
