Pink Floyd -- In Remembrance for Richard Wright (1943-2008)

"Pink Floyd keyboard player and founding member, Richard Wright, has died aged 65 from cancer. Wright appeared on the group's first album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, in 1967 alongside lead guitarist Syd Barrett, Roger Waters and Nick Mason. Dave Gilmour joined the band at the start of 1968 while Barrett left the group shortly afterwards. Wright penned songs on classic albums including The Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here."

Here are portions of three songs that feature Wright's genius, "Us & Them," "Shine On You Crazy Diamond," and "Great Gig in the Sky."
Rest in Peace, Rick. You and your music will be deeply missed.

I saw that concert — probably the most mindblowing musical experience of my life. Thanks Richard Wright for your incredible healing sounds, and go in peace.
