Patton Oswalt is True Detective’s Rust Cohle

Patton Oswalt knows his audience, and it is you. (And us.) In this new promo for the Comedy Central airing of his latest special, Tragedy Plus Comedy Equals Time, Oswalt does his finest impression of Rustin Cohle, the True Detective character played by Matthew McConaughey. (It’s the later-years Cohle, complete with long hair and kick-ass ’stache.) In case you missed the special when it originally aired (or didn’t) on EPIX, it will run on Comedy Central starting April 6, and it’ll be available in a CD/DVD package on April 8.

Just figured it out. My vpn was going through Canada. So Canadians were blocked from seeing it. Anyway that had me quite confused. All is right with the world again.
