This is a clip from an A & E broadcast from 1995 called The Art of Figure Skating. The World Champion and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist winning team of Gordeeva and Grinkov skate to Rachmaninoff's Vocalise in a skate exhibition, and the choreography is based on sculptures by A. Rodin. The voice you hear over the beginning part of this is Marina Zueva, who was their longtime choreographer and coach.
Ekaterina (known as Katia) Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov, aka "G & G," were the world class Russian pair you see here, and they were my favorite pair skaters EVER. They were married and had a daughter named Daria.
Sadly, Sergei Grinkov died in November of 1995 from a massive heart attack at the age of 28. :*(
They were so captivating to me. It was said by someone that they moved so perfectly together that their hearts seemed to beat as one. **Sighs** This was one of my favorite programs by G & G which I hope you will enjoy.

They that insecure?
rottenseeddoes voting for this convey that you are secure? Or is it kind of like a facade of security to cover up the insecurity you have about your insecurities?
Neh, just not a fan of ice-skating. I thought it was balls that made me that way, you know the same reason why I'm somehow drawn to the Home Depot and comedy involving chimps or the 3 stooges.
critttterUpvote in spite of the fact that the commentator sounds like my old slumlord.
