Mantis Shrimp Vs. Octopus

An entertaining confrontation from the documentary Imax - Deep Sea 3D.

Both these animals have strangely convergent physiology with other unrelated animals. The Mantis shrimp - with the Praying mantis, and the Octopus' eye with the Human eye.
just wanted to point that out :)

And no, shrimp mammies are not edible.

I don't know what "shimp mammies" are, but ^JAPR, mantis shrimp are edible. They are popular in the Mediterranean, and if you like sushi, try "shako".
They taste like pre-buttered lobster.
