Finally. About time. I thought he would never start talking. But then again, he always sticks his neck just far enough so he can pull it back and no more.

Why is he speaking with a fake inflection? Because he's talking to black people? Hillary seems to do this too. Wouldn't you be a little offended by that kind of cheap pandering if you were there?

I really like Obamma, but I am still on the fence for one reason: Obamma is extremely charasmatic. Because of that we need to weigh everything he says very carefully.

Just because a man can speak well does not mean he can speak truth.

So far, there has been no conclusive evidence to "puppetry" but we need to stay vigilant. Obamma seems almost too good to be true some times.

Hey, it's Obama unless you're playing on the bam! aspect. Also, I've heard this, "he doesn't speak consistently a certain dialect" angle, and I have to say I don't really either, and I think most of us take different tones depending on our audience: when speaking to children, girlfriends, the guy who cut me off in traffic etc. Maybe in politics it's not allowed, but I'm all right with it.

He's definitely adding a bit of a black accent on purpose. When he talks to white people, he sounds extremely white.

After hanging out for extended periods I catch myself talking like my friends who have accents or inflections all the time. Its embarrassing when they call me out on it, but its totally subconscious. I just want to be loved!
