Oatmealsays...OHHHH!!!! He is a FLIPFLOPPER!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with changing ones mind. Times change, situations change, and so should opinions and plans.
Farhad2000says...The Right is having trouble attacking this man clearly. They go back years to find a clip to try to pass him off as a flip flopper?
Please.
Let's see now... Since 2003 Bush revised the way he refers to the war...
March 2003 - Operation Iraqi Freedom:
"This will not be a campaign of half measures, and we will accept no outcome but victory."
TROOPS : 90,000
May 2003 - Under Mission Accomplished banner:
"Major combat operations in Iraq have ended."
TROOPS : 146,300
April 2004 - On Staying Course:
"These killers [terrorists] don't have values. They want to shake our will... But we will stay the course."
TROOPS : 138,100
November 2005 - Strategy for Victory in Iraq:
"Every man and woman who volunteers to defend our nation deserves an unwavering commitment to the mission - and a clear strategy for victory."
TROOPS : 154,000
July 2006 - Operation Together Forward:
"Obviously, the violence in Baghdad is still terrible, and therefore there needs to be more troops."
TROOPS : 131,000
January 2007 - New Way Forward Iraq Strategy:
"This violence is splitting Baghdad into sectarian enclaves, and shaking the confidence of all Iraqis... Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me."
TROOPS : 132,000
The military itself says Bush's surge plan is a foolish political compromise, that introduces too few troops to secure the situation but just enough to get more Americans killed. Bush doesn't listen to his own generals, dismissing the advice of the Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff Gen. Peter Pace, who wanted the increase to be just a few thousand men.
Oatmealsays...And, don't forget, that in the debates before the 2000 election Bush said that he was strongly opposed to using force and advocated the use of diplmoacy to resolve conflict. We can all see how that turned out
choggiesays...one can'not rule out the idea that a candidate may be approached and offered concessions not to run so anther may have an unhindered advantage.....would not put it past the queen of self-spin meshuggada, Hillary Dillary Schlock.
Perhaps as well, the possibility exists in the sick circus that is "politics in America", include such crippled propergander, as the hillary-Obama tour de force, in the form of premeditation to benefit one or the other or obama had never planned to run altogether.....funny how one loses sight of the games being played behind the games.....poo, it's all poo, spend time with loved ones while you can, and tape yer social security number to yer gucci bags....
gwaansays...Can't helping feeling that this video will turn up on Fox news soon... (if it hasn't already!)
Another lame attempt by the American right to tarnish the image of Obama.
theo47says...ZOMG you got 'im good, wump!!!
Duncan Hunter totally rulez!
bamdrewsays...not like hes lying or anything. the man truly had no intention of running for president after just becoming a senator. everybody wanted him to, so now he's thrown his hat in the ring.
rossprudensays...When was this video made? If it was recently, he might have been referring to 2012.
siftbotsays...Expired in Queue - 4 day limit.
