fyt: Classic debate between Professor Noam Chomsky and President of Boston University John Silber on the Contra/Sandinista issue in Nicaragua, and whether the United States should continue their sponsored war in the country. Silber thinks the United States ought to continue the civil war, which killed tens of thousands, while Chomsky does not.

I went to BU. Silber sent the place back 25 years. Look him up... he's a disgrace.

I've read over 20 of Chomsky's books. AND HE'S ALWAYS WRONG! That's why I keep reading.

Ya know listening to this again...I can't help but like Bill O'Reillys methods of shutting someone up when they've had their time to speak. This is like when Jon Stewart went after John McCain and McCain just decided to talk while he was talking constantly the entire time and stair at his chest until it was all over.

I love listening to Chomsky, his voice is soothing. You can tell Siber is full of shit because he keeps talking about America wanting to spread democracy but who here really believes that
