I know that those virtual keyboards are conceptually possible, but I didn't think they were really practical/feasible

I had a virtual keyboard peripheral prototype about 10 years ago, but it was projected from a laser standing about 2 inches off the desk, and only outlined the keys. To project the entire keyboard would require much more power. The power requirements of both keyboard and display projection for a battery powered mobile device makes me think this is a hoax.

well, it is fake, but definitely a very good concept. If any company would be producing this in a year or two somehow, it would be insane.
