NASA - Ice Crystals Forming on the Rim of a 5,000 degree

Common Extensible Cryogenic Engine is an thruster being developed by NASA and a sub-contractor to throttle control to extreme (2% to 102% control). This makes for better control when landing payloads on the moon.

Amazing that ice is forming on the rim of the thruster.
