The Mythbusters were testing viral videos. Originally, someone built a sawdust cannon, which worked nice, but not as nice as they wanted. So they said, "Hey, you know what works real well? Non dairy creamer."

I used to do this all the time on the back deck of our house (growing up.) Just throw a 1/4 cup of it up in the air and then stick a lighter in it. THIS is the ultimate example... go mythbusters.
