Given three doors to choose from, is it more beneficial to change your selection after the first door has been eliminated or is it more advantageous to stay with your initial selection?.

The Sift collectively learned its lesson about 4.6 years ago when @plastiquemonkey dropped this bomb on us.

What makes this interesting is their testing of the theory that people will always stick with their original guess. That was news, and very interesting to me.
