'Mio Mao', an old classic clay animation series

Mio Mao was a childrens show in the late 80's/early 90' created by Francesco Misseri.
Watching it just brings back the memories, especially listening to the theme tune! The animation is also genius in itself, though I didn't realise how amazing it was untill now (being 3/4 years old at the time!)

This has to be older than late 80/early90... my children television memory is from the mid-late 70's, so I'm guessing at least 10 years older than submitter suggests

On topic: fond memories

Not sure if anyone ever checks back on this post or not... but this show also airs on BabyTV and I know that because this is my son's favorite show. It said in the background history of this show that I found that it was created in 1979 but not originally aired until late 1981 because of some controversy over it? The claymation is actually pretty amazing in this show.
