Microsoft Voice Rec demo gone horribly wrong

We've seen a Voice Rec bitch-rant before at the Sift - in this case it's an official Microsoft Product demonstration, which came out a half year or so before Vista was released.

The snarky comment from the anchorwoman nails this video up there, and is also why I added it to the femme channel - her FTW.

Anybody here used Goog411?
For those that don't know, Google launched a free 411 service (1800-4664-477) that is completely automated using voice recognition. I've never really had a problem with it. It works really great.

I could've sworn I saw the full product demo before on the sift almost a year ago, but now I can't find it.

Yep, I've been using it. Comes in handy now and then. I keep it programmed in my mobile phone.

I blame a lot of my failures on "ambient noise" as well...rather, ambient voices in my head.
