Nebosukesays...Awww... you spoiled the initial punchline.
And it's kinda understandable that they all use Macs.
qruelsays...hold it. you mean people on macs designed microsoft paint ?
why isn't it better ?
they sure seem pretentious :-)
karaidlsays...Mac lovers are pretentious??? You are a dirty liar!!
swampgirlsays...HaHA! Yeah where do you buy a Mac in the real world anyhow? We've lived in the boonies for so long we primarily shop online or drive 45 min to the nearest Best Buy.
For the ubergeeks that actually understood the benefits of a Mac over PC for their purposes (which I don't), the rest own them because they somehow thought it made them more elite?
Picturing a couple in their loft apt on a Sunday... NY Times crossword puzzles, NPR on the radio, 1000 dollar espresso machine that makes a 3 ounce cup, lying on a woolen alpaca rug with a fruit colored Apple notebook...
OR guys like the characters in Free Enterprise.. comic book collection, action figure curios, movies ONLY on laser disc, owns a Mac...and of course couldn't tell you why it's better than a PC, it just IS
k8_fansays...Uh...this isn't really "Mac vs. PC". Great paint programs exist on both platforms. This is about Microsoft continuing to ship such a breathtakingly lame paint program in this day and age. "Paint" is actually more lame than the very first color paint programs - SuperPaint and Paint3:

bamdrewsays...@swampgirl I don't own a mac, but my girlfriend has a macbook pro, and its really, really, really excellently designed, from how thin it is to how the keys feel to the magnetic powercord to the perfect colors on the screen to the accessibility to the hoardrive and ram underneath... Apple programs are frequently more intuitive, the OS is smaller and more stable (to my experience), 90% of the software that comes with it is very useful, even the packaging when she bought it was impressively designed. Starting up the beast and getting everything going was easy as pie... I've had a few computers in my day, and I was very impressed. I don't like a lot of things about the OS, but mostly because I'm not used to it and only know the Windows way. Anyhoo, wrapping this comment up, we bought my mom (who has thusfar been very computer hesitant) a macbook, and word is she's rocking on it.
