Emily Haines is the singer - they played in the background of a French movie - I don't remember if this song had anything to do with that gig but I think it actually preceeded this.

She's an amazing singer!

They're really good live (saw them supporting Massive Attack in Leeds, UK - a few months ago).

Even though personally I detest Metric (MuchMusic bubble gum pop), I must admit they are better then 90% of the bands in Canada.
