schmawysays...I was fully expecting the interviewer to start getting pushy, disrespectful, and conspiratorial. Because he didn't, I think we got some good information about the fiduciary structure of the US. Great Sift!
siftbotsays...Moving this video to arsenault185's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
Arsenault185says...I'm going to *beg for 2 reasons:
1. This video has some REALLY great information, and being that it is from the mouth of the FED, you know its true and you can trust it.
2. I'm ever so close to 100 star points and want to hit that before the end of the weekend. (selffish, I know. But hey, I'm throwing good information at you at least )
siftbotsays...Sending this video to Beggar's Canyon to plea for a little attention - beg requested by original submitter arsenault185.
qruelsays...wtf ? 3:40 minutes go by until we get to any real content. the video editor should be slapped. And now that I've watched the whole thing I think the video editor should be slapped twice for all the distracting, cheesy wipes that diminishes the serious message they are trying to communicate.
blutruthsays...I agree, the information in here is something that the majority of people don't know about. Most people would probably be very surprised if they learned that the Fed (a private corporation) "buys" the money that the Bureau of Engraving and Printing prints for only the cost of printing it. Practically speaking, the Fed would pay about $3,000 for $1 billion dollars worth of notes. After which, it will "sell" this money to banks and even the government at face value. Something about that just doesn't seem right to me.
By the way, the video isn't VERY long, it's about 26 minutes or so. And if you skip the beginning with Ben Bernanke ignoring Gary and the end credits, it's only about 18-20 minutes.
