The Guardian's Nick Davies emphatically puts some perspective on the supposed actions of Pfc Bradley Manning.

It's just a snippet of a longer conversation which somewhat distorts the impression one gets from it. Nick Davies, in particular, made it very clear that it might have been him, might not have been him, but if it was him .... and that's what preceded this excerpt.

The initial question for this part was if the public had a right not to know and it unfolded into this small dialogue between Davies and Schoenfeld.
