FNORDcincosays...It almost looked like Maddow is reacting to the comcast dvr screens...
MaxWildersays...Didn't they know Hasan was in contact with that cleric in Yemen by reading Hasan's email? Perhaps I misheard the announcement, but that would not indicate that they were reading all of the cleric's email, just what Hasan had sent and received.
I just looked up the announcement and it isn't clear. Perhaps they are assuming that the timeframe was too short to go through Hasan's email, and that the intelligence community must have had this information already.
marinarasays...wow! why so many people vote for this? It was a good can o' whup ass but....
honkeytonk73says...I was wondering why all that info about his so-called 'contacts' was released. Sounded like a massive leak to me at the time. Now I know.
"Tough On Terror" I see... eh congressman?
rychansays...Uhh.. gonna have to agree with MaxWilder (and for the second time recently, disagree with Maddow): Hoekstra's statements don't imply that we're reading all of this cleric's email -- it implies that we're reading Department of Defense emails. What a surprise.
But it does seem as if Maddow has just now leaked that information and confirmed it with Hoekstra's spokesman. Am I wrong? That makes Maddow quite the hypocrite.
brycewi19says...Man, I hope this guy wins the governorship in Michigan so that his ass will be out of the intelligence committee!
