Strange...not unimaginable but still sort of strange. When I hear people talk about it I think it's silly, then I remember what a height of civilization Germany was up to before shit happened. People like to think we're above that and maybe knowning it has happened makes us more aware but that doesn't mean it can't happen again. Seems silly to talk about it and it seems silly when you watch stuff like this...I kinda feel silly fearing it.

Have you read this book?: They Thought They Were Free by Milton Mayer. It's all about what turned ordinary Germans--and the nation itself-- towards Nazism. Great parallels to our time, especially after the Patriot Act and Military Commissions Act.>> ^Yogi:

I'm not sure how I'd feel about reading a book by someone named "Milton" but I'll give it a shot.
