Graham Evans, a Conservative MP, has been criticised for not paying attention when Liam Fox, the Defence Secretary, defended sacking 11,000 troops in the House of Commons - and playing air guitar instead.
The MP for Weaver Vale was practising chords using a rolled up Parliamentary order paper for a guitar while Dr Fox discussed job losses announced in the Strategic Defence Review and admitted that more could follow.
Michael Dugher, a shadow defence minister, accused the Conservatives of treating job losses among the military "like a joke".
He said: "Tory MPs were messing about during the statement like the whole thing was some sort of joke. Well, it's no laughing matter to our Armed Forces and their families."

Fusionautsays...I don't think that the MP was being inconsiderate at all. Musicians often practice in this way when people are talking. Non-musicians might see it as inconsiderate but that's because they don't know!
