Louis Theroux's Weird Weekend: UFOs

Originally aired in January 1998, this documentary follows several people who believe in UFOs. One of these is a man called Thor Templar, the self titled "Lord Commander of the Earth Protectorate". He claims to have killed more than ten aliens by chopping their heads off...classic Louis.

I've really liked most of the other Louis Theroux shows I've seen on here but I just felt sad after watching this one. I can't really laugh at these pathetic people. They're so incredibly deluded and lost in thier own world of absolute insanity. Many of them seem to be truly in need of medication and actual medical treatment, the whole thing just ends up being very sad and disturbing.

Great show. It's always been pretty clear that these schizoids cut up dead cows and then come back to 'investigate'. It can progress into worse things - see Heaven's Gate for example.
