It must have been fate to see that slide of "Burger Chef" and the year of this tune, 1971. I recall, after a night out in that very year, taking the back seat out of friend's car (borrowed from his Dad) and hosing the spilled wine from it with the water faucet at the back of a Burger Chef. That's when we noticed the dome light was shattered. That was the only morning of my life when I was roused from a roadside ditch by a state patrolman.

Those were the days, eh? Being young has it's advantages. If I got crossed up like I used to I'd end up tossing some guy named Bubba's salad. I heard this on the radio driving home the day I posted it. Some kinda zeitgeist at work.

You know, there was a time when, if someone told you to
do somethin', you did it. Bam! Right on! No questions asked.
It was "Yes, sir" and "Yes, mam". You never said no. You know? Huh.
But, you know, things are changing nowadays. It's a new day,
babies. Folks want to take their own lives into their hands and
make their own choices. No longer do they wanna go along with
the program 'cause everybody say it's right. You know what I mean?

Boy I'm tempted to bust a sociological move on that, right there.
