This bizarre, lawless land in the California desert is inhabited by drug addicts, eccentrics, army vets, hippies and just plain old weirdos. Slab City is referred to by its residents as "the last free place in America." -yt

Stuck in the desert with a tweeker? That's nothing new.

Ya know I really wanted to like this video but it just seemed like some guy going camping in a really well used little known camping spot with a bunch of RVs that ran out of gas and never escaped the place.

people have always known about the homeless army vets, but people still join the army... shrug
