Yeah this is just amazingly lazy and wasteful.

If the pole were wider, it would work out. You'd just need to match the circumference of the pole to the track of the lawnmower. Probably be more work to setup than just doing it yourself though, but much more fun.

Wheres the rest of the video? Where the guys goes to get a soda, the mower get's to the middle, chews through the pole, takes off through the hedge and down to road to freedom?
