Lady Sovereign - Love Me or Hate Me (Sweet British Rap)

benjeesays...

Usually British Hip Hop would get an instant up-vote for me (being British and loving Hip Hop)...But I'm staying neutral, as I don't like Lady Sovereign's grungey basic beats & chav rhyme rap in this one.

Good come-back Farhad - although at least Sovereign both looks the chaviest and is named after the ultimate chav jewellery! Is it just me; or is this 'Live' (yeah right!) on CD:UK, a saturday morning kids pop show: kind of disturbing?

I think that says more of the current music market we have now then anything else. Innovation is so dried up, most musical acts sound vanilla now or target specific niche market audiences like emo, goth, hip hop, rap and so on. The only real music we had for the past year so is a few indie singer/songwriters or groups and alot of old people preforming perhaps past their due date.
