La Thu Cua Me - A Mother's Letter

I don't expect there'll be many votes for this here, but it's a rather touching song, particularly for any mother of a son. I translated lyrics here (with the help of my wife). My words are not as impactful as those in the native language, but I hope they do them a little justice.

Son of mine,
My love for you will never fade
From the day you were born until this very day, that has never changed.

Son of mine,
I believe you are all grown up into a man.
Live your life and make your mother proud.

You may struggle through many hardships down the long road ahead,
Where there won't be many who will love you,
And you'll suffer from troubles and worries.

With so much weighing on your mind, you may not recognize right from wrong,
But I will always believe you are strong enough to overcome it all.
My heart will be watching every single step you take, always.

Someday when you are troubled,
When you are too tired to take another step,
Return to your home.
Mother's and father's arms will be here.

Although time keeps passing, everything fades away, and everything will be forgotten in time,
There is only one thing will not ever change:

Mother loves you.
