A 1895 French short black-and-white silent documentary film directed and produced by Auguste and Louis Lumière. It was first screened on December 28, 1895 in Paris, France, and was shown to a paying audience January 6, 1896.

Films like these are both historical and obscure, so I'd like to add both the History and Obscure tags to this. However you've already added 4 appropriate tags, thus leaving me to choose between either History OR Obscure. I guess I'll go with *Obscure.
