put it all on an android / I phone and get companies to use a standardized secondary bar code system.

I don't get why you get people that do these things and they focus on the stupid pointless shit that doesn't work ( presumably because its visually impressive for noobs) rather than focusing on making a product that can actually work and is practical for real world operation.

Tech built on a technology that has yet to produce a cart that will roll straight after the abuse it takes on a daily basis. If it includes a cart that will go outside, you are wasting your time on the rest. And if it can't go outside, it's pointless for anyone who doesn't go to the store daily...because they will have too much to carry out to their car.
