choggiesays...This screams foul, has anyone ever seen chi without contact filmed like this.....in any country???
Ain't buying this....believe in the possibility, but not in this viddy.....
deputydogsays...filmed like what?
siftbotsays...Tags changed from "no chi, d'oh, embarassing, mma" to "no chi, embarassing, mma, bullshido" by gold star member rembar.
rembarsays...I was hesitant about posting this myself, it's never fun to see an old guy get beat up, but man was he asking for it. You can read more info here.
bizinichisays...he deserved it big time
quantumushroomsays...Shouldn't someone interview the winner to see if he "felt" anything?
ridesallyridencsays...Funny. I wonder if his students all believed that they were actually being manipulated by his chi, or if they were just playing along. I also wonder if his students were playing along for so long that the master actually started to believe he was invincible. Kind of like the tent revivals where the preacher drops the whole crowd with the waive of a hand - because they all want to believe they can be dropped with the waive of a hand. Groupthink reinforcing groupthink.
Either way, you could tell he wasn't used to being hit...
JAPRsays...That was just lovely.
lavollsays...placebo is a real thing
gwiz665says..."Groupthink reinforcing groupthink." See religion.
SDGundamXsays...At the end of the vid, the fighter who won is shouting for someone to call an ambulance in Japanese. Good on him for actually wanting to stop the fight after he got the first hit in and caused the nosebleed.
I can only assume the old "master" was just plain delusional. He basically bought into his own BS and I guess really thought he could hit people with chi. What I'm boggled about is how many students he has who are actually willing to play along with his "chi" strikes and fall over any time he gestured at them! I mean, at what point do you stop and go, "Wait, I'm paying this guy for lessons?!?"
siftbotsays...“Glimpse of True Nature & High Potential of Chi Power" has been added as a related post - related requested by lucky760 on that post.
