This isn't the 2007 one? Maybe I'm just used to a different recording. The one I'm used to is sampled here.

Yes Kerotan is right, this is the recording from their Peel Sessions in 1979 before they got well known. The version most are familiar with was released on a EP in 1980. I do agree though, it was far better refined the second time around - a more sombre feel to it.
