If we had even a little hope that any of these world changing ideas had any chance at being implemented in our lifetime, then there may be some more upvotes. Until then, they're depressing somehow.

Definitely, but every single one of these visionaries just fade away. I've seen so many world changing ideas in TED talks etc, and at the end of the day they're depressing because there's no hope in them actually changing anything in our lifetime or the next. Not so long as theirs profit in coal and debt and war and and and...

I understand what you mean Enzoblue. These people have incredible ideas but its like the political videos on the sift, we all see the problems to where it seems like we all know and have common sense but it contridicts what actually happens in reality. When it comes down to it, no one will follow through with what they speak about which can be depressing
