Jane Goodall - Overpopulation in the Developing World

It seems to me that raising the topic of overpopulation has become a taboo subject, but as we move further into this century it is becoming a much larger problem.

Overpopulation of the earth is the last great taboo. One child per family would reduce the global population by half within 50 years, but it is worth bearing in mind that a child in an industrialised country uses many hundreds of times more of the earth's resources than a child in the third world.
