Really nice MTV ad. It even aired in Germany itself btw. But i don´t think the viewers in GB really get all the allusions it supported: Everyone knows Bratwurst, but i guess only Germans can figure out what´s about that VW burning rubber ;-)

...and just in case you´re wondering: the song is performed by a famous german folk singer named Heino ;-)

we also don´t wear sweat suits while burning the rubber off VW tires

Actually, at the very end he says, "Sie ist so wunderbahr."

And her mouth is described as "purplish-red." Any mention of a purple mouth in English-speaking countries would bring a reaction of disgust...but Germans are a bit different in that respect.

I love the allusion to the young man "outting" himself to his parents. First we think it's gonna be about his color, then I immediately thought he was going to say he was gay...and he admits to being German! And the parents' reaction is classic!
