I would be smoking cannabis if I was there too. Hell I'd be smoking cannabis if I was chopping wood or building a sky scraper baking a cake or sniping a Nepalese bush-monkey.

Pretty good reporting there. Us Canadians are having the same problems; coming across a police checkpoint that has been letting armed Taliban pass through for days because all the police are stoned is a regular occurrence. The ANA generally gets stoned before every fight. The only good thing about this is that often the fighters recruited by the Taliban are stoned too, so they can be just as horrible at fighting.
