There are way better arguments if you really want to convince someone, depending on what you want to convince them. I think you are going to have a tough job if you want to convince someone evolution doesn't exist, but if you just want to convince someone it isn't incompatible with a specific religion or religion in general, you can do better.

Looks like she fell into the exact same trap that most creationists do: completely ignoring fact and choosing alternative definitions for scientific words.

Most creationsists I've met at least admit that micro-evolution takes place simply because we can observe it directly. This woman would have us turn a blind eye to all domesticated animals.
