Back in high school I had the opportunity to interview her when I was doing some side work as a reporter and was covering the local folk fest. I didn't actually do it though. I already had enough interviews for my quota and I was madly attracted to her which meant that I was also scared of her, the moreso since I was 16 and she was 28. I knew if I talked to her I'd either try to clumsily woo her, and fail, or not woo her and then regret not having tried. So I didn't talk to her at all.

Odd to think that I'm now older than she was then. I'll travel back in time and hit on you like a muthatrucka, mid-1990s Dar Williams!
