If Hollywood Directors Made Campaign Ads…

While campaign ads can occasionally be visceral and exciting, more often than not they fall into the same, monotonous categories. Have you ever wondered what campaign ads would be like if they were directed by critically-acclaimed directors?

The folks at LandlineTV have taken that question and answered it in their latest video. They speculate on what McCain ads would be like if they were done in the styles of John Woo, Kevin Smith, and Wes Anderson. (From Neatorama)

Geeze, I saw this a couple of days back and decided against posting it as I thought it was actually really poorly done. The John Woo had no doves, had very poor action, and was just average. The Kevin Smith one was alright, but again, pretty poorly executed, and the Wes Anderson one was just dull (although that's somewhat true of his actual movies I guess)

I liked the Wes Anderson one. ...could have been more ridiculous; maybe the 70's-martial-arts-film manual-zoom shot up to McCain on a roof, ... or just McCain falling into a kiddie pool or something at the end of the slow motion scene.

(other two weren't... good)
